Malathion, Bug Out or Pyrethrin will do the trick.

Rose buds drying up before blooming is a phenomenon often referred to as “rose balling,” and is typically caused by a combination of wet conditions and subsequent heat. When a rosebud gets saturated with water, often during a rainy period, and then is quickly followed by a hot, sunny day, the outer petals can dry out and fuse together, creating a tight, papery shell that prevents the bud from opening.

We do and best to come around the perimeter then go right at St. Mary’s Rd then take your first right to get to us. The Province has really mucked up the roadway to get to here so not as easy as it once was.

Never heard of Tordon herbicide. The strongest herbicide we’d sell would be Round Up which should work.

That item is now discontinued and we sold our last piece in January.

No one grows Chinese Elm here – too much seed. Also not sure if hardy.

Discovery Elm (Japanese) would be fine – there’s some 7 gallons available there.
