HiI’m looking for a fast-growing, privacy-giving tree to plant in some rocky sparse & slanted soil at lake of the woods, in near full sun. I’ve been told that Chinese Elm is hearty & would work. Do you agree? Is there anything else you’d recommend? Wh

No one grows Chinese Elm here – too much seed. Also not sure if hardy.

Discovery Elm (Japanese) would be fine – there’s some 7 gallons available there.
