Cascadia is a sugar snap pea with crisp, deep green pods. Good yields can be used at the edible pod stage or as a shelling pea. The very sweet peas remain succulent and tender. Staking will not be required for this variety.

Preparation Ideas: Cascadia peas are delicious pan fried for a few minutes with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Instructions: Plant directly in the garden as soon as ground can be worked and danger of frost has passed. Well drained fertile soil is best. Apply Garden Inoculant to increase yields.

Suggestions: When harvesting peas, do not jerk pods from vines since rough handling can cause plants to stop producing. It is best to snip clusters of pods from vines with scissors or pruners.
