Slicer is one of our best slicing cucumbers. It produces heavy crops of long cucumbers early in the season. While perfect for slicing when large, these cucumbers will make great dill pickles when young. This versatile variety has resistance to Downey Mildew.

Instructions: Sow seed directly in soil once all danger of frost has passed. Soil must be fertile and rich in compost. May be started indoors before last frost. Roots should be disturbed as little as possible while transplanting.

Suggestions: Plant near beans, peas, tomatoes, cabbage and lettuce.
