Bull’s Blood Beets are known for their deep red leaves and roots. Enjoy the sweet red leaves in salads or as a steamed vegetable. The red root is excellent for pickling or as a delicious cooked vegetable.

Instructions: Sow in rows as early as the ground can be worked. After planting, press down covering with soil firmly. It performs best in full sun and well drained soil.

Suggestions: Harvest when 5 – 8 cm (2 – 3″) in diameter for best flavor.
