The Sundials have been and currently remain the standard in Portulaca. Large double flowers remain open longer under lower light levels (typically portulaca flowers close at night and on cloudy days). Excellent ground cover and border plant for full sun, well drained areas. Heat and drought tolerant, the plants do not like excessively moist soil.
