We have been incredibly impressed with the YOUNIQUE series of Astilbe from Dutch hybridizer Jan Verschoor. All members of this series are incredibly floriferous, often producing double the number of flowers of older selections. This showy flower display is produced atop very compact plants, and the flowers are in perfect proportion to the foliage. They are beautiful both in the garden and in containers.
