Preparation Ideas: Rinse shelled peas. Bring water in a pot to a boil. There should be enough water in the pot to cover the peas. Add peas, cover pot, and let the water return to a boil. Boil peas for approximately 3 minutes. Drain water, add salt and pepper to taste and butter if desired. Serve immediately.

Suggestions: The large strong vines 90-120 cm (3-4′) do not need any support, however, trellis may be used to keep the pods from touching the ground and easier to pick.
