Instructions: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last killing frost in the spring. Or, sow 2-3 seeds together outdoors every 2 feet. Thin to 1 plant every 2 feet when seedlings are 1 inch tall. As sprouts begin to form, break off lower leaves.
Suggestions: When sprouts reach 1 inch or more in diameter, begin harvest with the lower sprouts and work up the stalk. A good producer again when planted in summer for fall harvest until frost.
