NM Bluebird Fund program offers discount for trees

Manitoba Bluebird Fund (MBF) was set up by Nature Manitoba with the goal of stopping the continuing decline in the number of songbirds in Manitoba, and to hopefully even see their numbers increase. One of the activities of the fund is to offer a financial incentive to homeowners in order to encourage the planting of trees and/or shrubs on their property that will provide food and habitat for Manitoba songbirds.

Step 1: Have a look at our list of eligible trees to see which one suits your yard and space
Step 2: Phone or email Nature Manitoba and they will send you a claim form
Step 3: Fill out the claim form and bring it down to Ron Paul Garden Centre
Step 4: Select your tree and enjoy an instant 50% discount when you pay for your tree (up to $100)

Since most of the eligible trees cost around $90 plus tax, the NM Bluebird Fund essentially gives you a free tree – limit 1 tree per household.
